”This hotel suited our needs. It was clean, in a good location, had plenty of useful amenities, had a great pool and friendly staff. However, if you are looking for flash....this is not the place. It is very tired and probably needs an upgrade. If you are looking for a safe, basic place to stay with a BBQ area and pool then this place is okey. We would probably stay again if ever we are back in Cairns. ”

”We stayed here only one night but would have loved to stay longer. The room was clean and spacious, and the view over the harbor was amazing. The hosts were very friendly, and even came to tell us that they had noticed that there's a light on in our car - it surely saved us from having a dead battery the next morning! We would definitely recommend staying here! :)”

”Comfortable, plenty of room to move around, reasonably quite apart from council road works up the street,good sized fridge and useable kitchen. Parking at property was to small for 4 cars, 2 cars had to use street parking.”

”The place is very convenient but there are people each night making noise either talking, singing, and screaming. Ms. Rosa was very helpful for assisting us for the local tours. I will give her a 5 stars ”

”The beautiful vista, sunrise and sunset, the nearby Boardwalk, city lights, views and proximity to everything as well as the RSL that have great food at reasonable prices, next door. Beds were lovely and comfortable and quiet, once the doors to the patio were closed. It was a perfect accommodation for us. ”

”PROs: -The PalmView unit is decorated lovely. -Fantastic for a 1-2 day break if driving Cairns to Brisbane. -Safe off street parking CONs: -It is not close to any cafes or restaurants and the beach isn’t great -They are bit tight on provisions like one 50ml UHT milk for two. - The room can accommodate three people, but the sofa is too small should 3 people want to watch TV. - Also some softer lighting via a floor lamp in the living would be good. ”

”Mantra Boathouse Apartments was a superb pick for our stay. Premises were excellent and crew very helpful. Really worth of the money! Too bad the weather did not favour us. Cyclone Iris visited area just before our stay and we did not see the best of Airlie Beach. With only adequate weather Airlie Beach did not offer that much to do. I am sure that with fine weather this is a paradise.”

”Absolutely beautiful property. The apartment has a contemporary design, very nice, on the harbor, not the ocean/ beach. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and watching boats arrive and leave. Simon was helpful and personable. The only negative is I didn't receive arrival information until after we arrived but we located Simon and all was good. Thanks for the great restaurant information. The Pub was excellent!”

”Cocos is lovely. It’s our new favourite in the Cairns beaches area. The apartment is spacious and has a well equipped kitchen and laundry, which is perfect for our family. The location is ideal, as it os close to the shops, restaurants and beach. Overall amazing value and we are very happy. ”

”First family holiday with a 1.5 year old and this place was perfect. Spacious 2 bedroom unit, everything we needed to cook and keep up with washing. Pool was a hit with the little one as well as the wildlife in the beautiful gardens. Management of resort were great to communicate with. Would stay here again!”

”Hotel with good location, near to beach and centre. It is good to know, that daily cleaning is not included. Trash has to be taken out by yourself and you can get sanitary items and clean towels from reception. Air conditioning was working, but not very effective, room was quite moist. Worst was cockroaches in bath room and in room. Hotel personnel kindly came and poisoned them, but they were back the next day.”

”The property was clean and modern but selecting the correct lights lights to turn on at the electrical switch at the door entrance was very frustrating. The electrical light switching meeds to he looked at,otherwise great place to stay. Mal savage”
