”Mantra Portsea is nicely decorated apartment hotel within walking distance from the center. The service level is good otherwise, but the rooms are only cleaned once a week. We stayed for 4 days so this was sufficient. You can get clean towels if you like. The breakfast was good. However during my stay I washed some clothes and they were damaged because the clotheshorse in the balcony was rusted. The hotel agreed to compensate the clothes after the housekeeping was unable to remove the stains....

”Parvekkeelta upea näköala merelle, missä ei saanu uida (tiedettiin etukäteen). Yleinen paljon, ok. Siivousta ei ollut alle 8 vrk majoituksille kuin ylim. maksusta. Pyyhkeet pestiin välillä itse, nekin olisi saanut ylim. maksusta kyllä. Oli onneksi oma pesukone ja kuivuri. Tiskattiin aina itse. WC-paperit ja tiskiaineet piti pyytää erikseen, ei tuotu automatic. Netti ei toiminut ollenkaan parina ekana päivänä, jos olisi toiminut, niin lisämaksusta kyllä. Hinta sentään lähes 150 € / vrk, niin joka...

”Hotel with good location, near to beach and centre. It is good to know, that daily cleaning is not included. Trash has to be taken out by yourself and you can get sanitary items and clean towels from reception. Air conditioning was working, but not very effective, room was quite moist. Worst was cockroaches in bath room and in room. Hotel personnel kindly came and poisoned them, but they were back the next day.”

”Difficulty in checking in after hours. Instructions were confusing and no one was reachable by phone. After managing to check in, the room was not set up for 2 single beds that had been booked. Spoke to staff next morning & they were very helpful in upgrading us to a beautiful suite”

”The only bright spot about the Mantra Heritage is the location, central to the main town. The biggest gripe I have is that this hotel does not service the rooms unless you have stayed 8 days, I think that is disgusting and explains why everything looks dirty and tired. You do not know about this until after you check in, and receive their instruction sheet.
