The Space:
Our building does not have an elevator; however, as it is a very low-rise building, you can easily reach the apartment via the stairs.

Guest Access:
The apartment has a private entrance and operates with a lockbox system. You can access the apartment using the key inside the lockbox located right next to the door.

Perched on the slopes of Ulus, Portakal Yokuşu offers one of Istanbul’s most captivating blends of tranquility and city energy. Here, leafy streets weave between elegant residences, boutique cafés, and hidden viewpoints over the Bosphorus. In the mornings, the neighborhood hums quietly — the scent of fresh bread from the local bakery, the soft call of ferries in the distance, and the occasional jogger heading toward nearby parks.

A gentle stroll downhill takes you to Ortaköy, where the waterfront bursts into life with art stalls, street food, and the iconic Ortaköy Mosque framed by the Bosphorus Bridge. Head uphill and you’ll find the refined calm of Ulus, home to upscale dining, gourmet markets, and charming spots perfect for a slow coffee. Getting Around:
From Portakal Yokuşu, you’re well connected to explore the city with ease. By foot, Ortaköy is around 10–15 minutes away, making it easy to enjoy the waterfront or catch a ferry across the Bosphorus. Several bus lines run along the main road, linking you to Beşiktaş, Kabataş, and beyond. Taxis and ride-hailing apps are readily available and can get you to Taksim, Nişantaşı, or the Historic Peninsula in 15–25 minutes, depending on traffic.

If you’re driving, the central location gives you quick access to both bridges and main arteries, making it simple to reach the Asian side or the northern coast. Istanbul Airport is about 40–45 minutes away by car, while Sabiha Gökçen Airport is roughly an hour. Whether you prefer walking to nearby gems, using public transport, or relying on taxis, this spot offers the flexibility to experience Istanbul your way.

Other Things to Note:
As Homie Suites, we have to be provided with our guests’ valid passport ID’s to welcome our guests in our apartments which is a compulsory requirement to conform to the Turkish Legislation Regulations and Rules which were authorized and reported by Turkish legislation dated 26/06/1973.

Our guests need to agree to send us the related information before they check into their Homie Apartment. Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to share the check-in instructions with our guests who don't share their passport information.

If you'll require a transfer service, we can contact a private transfer company to provide you with the transfer that you want from wherever you want in Istanbul.

For our guests with children, we are happy to provide baby cot, high chair, and a drawing table. Please let us know prior to you arrival.
