”We did not stay at the Daintree Wilderness due to Expedia overbooking at this hotel. The staff at Daintree Wilderness tried unsuccessfully to notify us and unsolicited found us another hotel nearby to stay Cockatoo hotel which was lovely the owner was gracious and helpful and the room had a large window overlooking the forest. It was light and airy and clean. We were so impressed with Daintree Wilderness staff apology and willing to make it right even though it was not their error. We returned...

Loved the games room where we played cards for a couple of hours before heading for a walk along the beach before dinner. Our kids were disappointed to leave.
