”The room was clean and spacious. The service staff were polite and helpful. The hotel was right next to the mall which makes it very convenient for shopping and food. It’s just a short walk from West Lake as well. Highly recommended.”
”Room was awesome as always. Shangri-La rooms never let me down on expectations for a nice rooms. However, during my last visit I felt that the services and communication at the frontdesk has been downgraded. Frontdesk was not so friendly during check-in. Receptionist didn't take a short time to explain the facilitiy. At least she could have asked me if I knew where the breakfast buffet is served. This was not kind of service that you expect from 5 star hotel. Need training quick.”
”The building was built in the 1950s, so that’s the style. The location is perfect, with the lake right in front of your eyes. Rooms are solid built and quiet which is hard to achieve with modern buildings. Once you shut the balcony door you can’t hear the hustle and bustle outside. Breakfast is great with a gorgeous view of the lake. If one is looking for a modern hotel this is not the recommended one. But if one is interested in history and wants to stay at the same hotel a lot of world leaders...
