”This was our second visit to Maui, so we wanted to try something different; we chose something upcountry instead of on the beach this time. We will likely go back to the beach for future visits, because we really didn’t enjoy having to drive all the way back and change after spending time on the beach. ”Stayed in room 1 which was clean, spacious, and well appointed. It’s quiet when the other guests are considerate and follow the rules which includes no shoes in the house beyond the foyer. Beautiful ocean view from the lanai upstairs. Host was easy to contact and talk to and give good instructions for easy check-in. Great place to stay if you are visiting Paia 10 minutes away or thinking about driving the road to Hana, which pretty much starts near there. Would definitely stay again if I’m in...

”The property is well laid out, clean, quiet, and safe, away from the bustle and noise of Kahului. Why not 5 stars? We arrived late at night after a long flight from the mainland. Our assigned room had been programmed with the correct door code, but it was not ready for occupancy; it had not been cleaned or “turned over” from the previous renter.
