1. Black Tupelo-A Peaceful space

Spring City

”This stay was perfect for our little family. The Black Tupelo had everything we needed and was exceptionally comfortable and cozy. Susan and Patrick were phenomenal hosts. They were kind, thoughtful and welcoming which we very much appreciated. When we return to the area, if we are in need of accommodations, this is definitely where we will choose to stay if it’s available! Highly recommend.”

8. Quirky Guest Cottage

Strawberry Plains

”Unfortunately, this property wasn't as comfortable as I was hoping for. In particular, the bathroom wasn't great. I'm not a clean freak and even this was below my standards. There is nowhere in the shower to place shampoo bottles so you have to set it on the shower floor, which isn't very clean. Kristy hasn't written out any directions for the house which I think is common practice. The AC unit were confusing and directions would have been nice. I also had asked Kristy for the wifi login on the...

”There was no microwave in the room making it difficult to heat up food. We had to walk to Meadowbrook Inn to use theirs since they are the primary hotel for Azalea Garden Inn. The water took forever to heat up to take a shower. There are very limited plug in spots for your phone chargers. No one on the property except one maintenance man and one housekeeper. It’s not like it use to be. Grounds not pretty as they use to be either. Everything handled by Meadowbrook Inn; check in and check out....

”We enjoyed our first stay so much that we came back for a second visit. One of our favorite things about this property is the sound of the river—it’s wonderfully loud and relaxing. Throughout the day, we enjoyed hearing the laughter and excitement of the rafters passing by, and it was equally enjoyable to sit in the chairs and watch fly fishermen cast their lines. The rental is located within a small gated area that feels private and secluded, even though the road is just beyond the tree line....

”The Treehouse Suite at The Calhoun House is a great property. This particular suite is located in a separate building from the other suites, which was ideal for us, as we had our baby and toddler with us. We did not worry about disturbing other guests if he cried or was a little loud. Edward was amazing as we checked in. He had some food essentials in the refrigerator and had some scrumptious treats from the local bakery. The suite was well stocked with toiletries and kitchen supplies and was...
