”As late as 8:30pm the apartment we booked had not been cleaned from the previous guests. Unmade bed, dirty towels, etc. We contacted the lady who had checked us in, only to be told that it wasn’t her responsibility to have the apartment cleaned but that she would try to find someone to do that. When we called her again a little later first she wouldn’t pick up, then proceeded to yell at us. At this point we just left the apartment and checked into a different hotel. ”We had a lovely stay! The garden apartment is even nicer than in photos - very clean, cozy and comfortable. Alessandro's family was welcoming and friendly - Gregorio met with us at check-in, showed us around and remained available to help with any questions. The private patio under the trees was a fantastic place to sit with a morning coffee or a casual dinner in the evening, and the pool and the views were absolutely amazing! We were thankful for the air conditioning too, as it was a hot week....

”We had a wonderful stay in Julia’s apartment in the Quadrilatero neighborhood of Bologna. It is a charming apartment and pleasant (short) walk to many of Bologna’s attractions, restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. As other guests have noted, because the apartment is in the heart of the Quadrilatero and above lively restaurants, there is a lot of noise at night and in the mornings so I would highly recommend earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Thanks to Julia for her patient and timely directions...
