”Property is clean and easily accessible off of Interstate 80. Area doesn't have much to offer in dining except for a truck stop Subway and a small diner. Ok, for a one night stay, i guess. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean, large and great for a night of rest. Bath towels were very small....had to use 2 towels after shower...more like large hand towels. Biggest bonus was my dog stayed free!! Love Motel 6 for loving on the pups!! 🐾 Overall, it was a very nice stay.”

”The bed was amazing. The room was very clean. However, we had ongoing problems getting into the room with the room key and had to ask for help twice. The air conditioner/heater was extremely loud, making a screaming noise, so we didn't use it. There was no cover/pad on the ironing board. All that being said, we would stay again.”

”Well when we pulled up to the hotel I was very concerned. The grounds of the hotel were really bad. Parking lot is pretty much dirt, hotel sign damaged. Looked abandoned. Check in was fine and the rooms have had some work done to them. Bathroom redone. Fridge and microwave. Room was clean. Beds were okay for a one night stay. So we decided to stay. It was quiet even though it was close to the highway. The outside of the property really needs some work.”

”The young man at check-in was very helpful, professional, friendly, and just an overall great person/communicator. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The most convenient parking as well. Everything was perfect.”

”Stayed several times at the Oakwood. . Low priced. Close to downtown - several good restaurants. I like the town. Bed is comfortable. Bathroom kinda rough.”

”Other than the empty pop can on the balcony that was blown around and kept bouncing off the glass door that can't be opened, in the high winds. The stay was good. Breakfast was good. Right off I 25 so there is noise. Will stay again.”

”This is an old motel. I knew what I was getting. Everything worked,(tv, WiFi , plumbing), the staff was polite, they worked with me on a late arrival time…but this is not new. I needed a bed and bath for the night and it was fine. My only complaint was that the pillows were so thin, 2 still left me with my head in an uncomfortable position. I was not there in the heat of summer, so I can not speak to the AC”

”We had to put towels in the door to cut down on the draft. The TV speakers were blown, underneath the beds where disgusting socks, cigarettes and other miscellaneous items. We should have slept in our car. ”

”Basic, clean, and reasonable cost. Located just off of I-70, so some road noise could be heard. ”

”I absolutely loved staying in the caboose it was cozy, and clean it’s super cool place to stay I highly recommend staying here. ”

”The historic hotel is being remodeled, and my room had a nicely updated bathroom. Good tile work around an what seems to be the original enamel bathtub. The room has not much space around the two double beds, but it is clean, and I found it comfortable. ”
