”Outstanding! A beautiful, relaxing place to stay. Our separate modern cabin was facing the vineyards. Quiet, comfortable. We walked the vineyards, enjoyed wine tastings. Perfect place. Amazing hospitality.”

”From arrival to departure we were very impressed with our treatment and the accommodation pod we had booked. There are only cafe facilities at the weekend therefore the need to travel for food and drink was unavoidable but it is only a short drive into Gisborne. The beaches close by are a surfers paradise so would certainly suit the adventurous person, though not myself. An all round excellent stay. ”

There are no nearby retail options so you do need to be relatively self contained - there are nearby beach and historic tumbledown buildings and wharf to explore as well as other sightseeing options within easy driving distance - a great place for a few days away from it all and to chill or to explore - getting there is a significant drive, as there are only two access directions via either Whakatane or Gisborne, but in...

”Beautiful house in a beautiful rural setting, so peaceful, we were sorry it was only one night. Outdoor shower is a must. Sally and Simon were superb hosts, super helpful and friendly. Sally's homemade treat was very much appreciated and we had a lovely walk around the farm, meeting the lovely dogs. Would highly recommend staying at this piece of paradise.”
