Designed in a traditional Slovenian style this charming wooden chalet-style cottage is arranged over two floors with a cosy open plan living space and bathroom on the ground floor and a small bedroom in the attic. The living space is furnished with a comfortable seating area, a small table and a kitchenette that provides everything needed to prepare a simple meal including; an induction hob, a fridge and a coffee machine.

Outside, the cottage enjoys a pretty garden where guests can soak up the sunshine, relax in the jacuzzi, cook a meal on the BBQ or dine al fresco.

The property is situated in Gabrje pri Stični a small village located in central Slovenia a 5-minute walk from the Stična Monastery. The surrounding countryside offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities, visitors can take scenic hikes or bike rides through the hills and explore nearby nature reserves such as the Stična Marshes (Stiška močvirja).

Another popular excursion is a day trip to Slovenia’s capital city Ljubljana (a 30-minute drive) where visitors can explore the historic Old Town and visit cultural attractions such as Ljubljana Castle and the Triple Bridge. Alternatively, guests can embark on a wine-tasting tour along the Dolenjska Wine Road, (a 45-minute drive) which winds through the rolling hills and vineyards of the region.
