”Room is clean but front office staff not very helpful. No complimentary water provided and no restaurant in the hotel . Nearby no restaurants . Difficult to find food . Have to walk a steep slope to find restaurants. The good point about the hotel is that it has beautiful sea view and it provides free shuttle service to the train station. Would not recommend to stay in”

”Beautiful surroundings, service was lovely. Peaceful and serene. Food was beautifully prepared. It would be nice to have a little more direction in how to actually take part in Japanese style bathing for those of us less familiar but there were other patrons around who helped acquaint me with things.”

”We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and cheerful. The shuttle service to and from Ito station was very convenient. The room was spacious and well kept. We opted in for the half board option as well. While the portions were great, the overall quality isn't as high as other ryokans we've stayed at in the past. The in-room onsen was lovely and felt very private in the garden setting. You can hear the train go by periodically, but that's expected given how central the location is...
