We got a room with a balcony with a "partial sea view", which turned out to be a fantastic view to the bay! The breakfast at the in-house french restaurant, The Pheonix, was moderate, but the dinner in the Japanese restaurant was really good.

”Hinodeya ryokan was a warmhearted place. I believe that it is kept by mother and her son. I struggled to speak some japanese and they struggled to speak some english, but we got along quite well.
The room was a tradional ryokan-style room. You get to wear a fancy yukata! They had a nice ofuro room and good breakfast. You even get to make your own omelette! I could definately return to this hotel.”
