Highlights were the gorgeous pool (just the right temperature, every other pool we’ve had in Indonesia has been way too hot!), the friendly staff, and the enormous breakfast buffet — if you’re hesitating about paying the extra for the free breakfast, it’s absolutely worth it, and it’s a little different every day. There was some construction going on and we had a city view room which would have looked out onto it, so they were kind...

”We spend three nights in the hotel. It was very reasonable priced and included all necessary services. The staffwas very frieldly and spoke good English. The Hotel pool was a nice extra. Immediatiate surroundings of the Hotel were quite rough. Malioboro shopping street is quite near though.”

”Eclipse hotel is situated in a very nice spot in Jogja and it is close to some nice local and international restaurants. The area in general is nice and within walking distance to Kraton and Malioboro St. Hotel staff was most helpful with everything we needed. Breakfast was good, good quality and plenty of choice. The room was spacious, had the all what we could need. You can hear the prayers but that did not disturb us. The pool was nice! This hotel was very good value for money!”

”Great location, walk out to Braga. Great staff, breakfast is a mix of local and western foods. It is a little confusing entering/exiting and if you call for a taxi, most of them are not familiar with the process. Pretty close to train station.”
