”This is our 8th stay here. It's a lovely lodge in a peaceful, rural setting with a few other lodges surrounding it. It is really well equipped, comfortable an excellent find. We originally came for the steam railway that's nearby but our son lives close by so it's convenient for visiting. Jan and Paul are great hosts, nothing to much trouble and it's always spotless.”

”Meadow Terrace is in a great location in Shrewsbury. A parking space is available for the duration of the stay. The beds were very comfortable. It is an old house on 3 levels, so quite a few stairs, but with plenty of room for the 2 of us. It had everything we needed for our stay. It was our second time here.”

”We very much enjoyed staying in the cottage, which we found very clean and well equipped. The cottage was in an ideal location with easy parking. ”Check in instructions were clear and came in plenty of time. Mick greeted us upon arrival as he lives a few doors down. Parking was ample and felt secure off the road in a private car park. The house was very clean and well catered for. It had Virgin TV with most channels available, which was a welcome addition. The only issue we had was getting a WiFi signal, which we needed to be near the front window for. I assume this may be because the extender wasn't working correctly to pick up the signal...

”The barn conversion is set in stunning Shropshire scenery. When we arrived we received a warm welcome from the owner. The property is warm and comfortable with many original features. There was plenty of room for the 11 family members in our group - lots of comfy armchairs, and pretty bedlinen on all the beds. The kitchen was slightly small for so large a group but we managed without a problem. There is a large Sainsbury's store within easy reach and we found plenty to do.”

”An area of the bedroom carpet was very wet and we had to stand on it when accessing the wardrobe and when passing through the door. This was especially unpleasant during the night. The carpet showed no signs of drying out so the possible cause was a drainage leak from the adjacent shower room. ”A nice room above a nice pub. Breakfast isn't included, but it's a short walk into Ironbridge for all the cafes and shops there. The car park is huge but it also a popular spot for drinkers by the river. The staff were very nice and helpful.
