This is a very charming old house that has been well-decorated with everything you need in a VRBO property. We come to Jackson periodically for medical appointments and like to stay in Fondren because of the cute restaurants and shops. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location close to shops and restaurants. The home was very nicely decorated. The host was very responsive and accommodating. We got in early, so we messaged the host and she let us check in a little early. There was a small snafu with the lock but the host resolved it in minutes. We would definitely stay there again.

Although there was a few hiccups with cleanliness at the beginning of our stay. The overall stay was okay. It is close to the highway and you can get everywhere within 20 mins or less. The hostess was really nice and called or text you back in a timely manner.

Cozy home in a great Neighborhood

We had a wonderful time staying in this cozy home. The check in process was great and we felt safe and comfortable in this home. The proximity to local restaurants was really good. Walkers is a must try. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Jackson.

Great place!

We really enjoyed our stay! We got into town a lot later than expected, so we didn’t get to explore the area much. But check in was easy, so that was very helpful. The bed in the first bedroom was squeaky, but everything else was top notch. I wish we could have cooked in the kitchen. It was beautiful. We loved the charm of the place, but with all the modern touches. We would stay there again!

Beautifully appointed home in the adorable Fondren neighborhood

Upon our arrival at the home on a Thursday evening, we had a little difficulty getting into the house which was total user error - our host was kind enough to respond quickly when we reached out and we were finally able to get inside once we figured out what we had been doing wrong, lol. The house itself is so much prettier in person than in the photos, and I think that’s saying a lot because I thought it looked really nice in the photos. I did notice a couple areas that look like they could have used a little more attention with regards to cleaning, especially with some of the kitchen surfaces, but overall everything was in perfect order. The one disappointment was the Wi-Fi which was spotty and kept losing service, but we were out of the house most of the time so it didn’t really affect our stay. The host was kind enough to provide a list of local restaurants and local attractions which we really appreciated, and the house was very close to the college we were taking our daughter to visit. I would highly recommend this home to other visitors, and I would choose it again myself if I were to go back!

Darling House in Charming Neighborhood

The host was wonderful and checked on us during our stay! The home was tastefully decorated and comfortable, and the kitchen was phenomenal. Everything looked and felt clean. The location is great and we enjoyed an evening stroll in the neighborhood. We appreciated the coffee pot, and we loved the brand of coffee provided so much, we changed brands when we returned home. The home was close to many restaurants. We would recommend Saltine restaurant. It was the best food we tried on our whole vacation. We were glad to have found a great location all around. We would absolutely stay in the same home again.
