Majatalot – Jackson

”Reasonable price for an older hotel, that I think has done many updates in recent years to bring it to today's expectation. Although the walls and ceilings are thin enough to hear people above and next to us. The only critique was the tea selections for a hot cup of tea (we like that instead of coffee). We managed to find 2 black tea bags that we'd need, but all the rest were "Chai Tea" - not what we wanted. At least we were able to have our tea, but if any tea-drinkers followed us, they'd be...

”The room was very clean and nice, the A/C worked great it got it Icey cold in my room. Thanks!”

”We were overcharged for 2 breakfasts. We tried to get it corrected but were not even allowed to speak with someone who could investigate. Hilton received two payments from our account after we had only signed one ticket for two breakfasts. Beware presenting your credit card as charges are made to it that you didn’t authorize.”

”My favorite place to stay when I am in Jackson. The staff is friendly and rooms clean and updated. The high brick walled courtyard with large koi swimming through water features is perfect setting for afterwork drinks. Breakfast is really good. Best tomato gravy I’ve ever had! Lunch menu is good too.”

”Very nice hotel. Clean. Friendly helpful staff. Only complaint is bar areas being adjacent to check-in desk. Not against having a bar area. But bad choice for its location. When my husband and I returned to hotel Saturday night, it was like walking into a party full of drunks. There were people and couples hanging out right there drinking, swearing and carrying on. Not appropriate for those who bring their children and grandchildren for a fun get away.”

”everything was fine, except the morning of checkout, the water was off so i couldnt shower.”
