”Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this host. We booked this property specifically because it advertised a dock, and before our stay we messaged the owner to confirm it would be installed for our jet ski. He confirmed it would be there, but when we arrived there was no dock. We were repeatedly told it would be installed during our stay, but it never was. The property also had multiple cleanliness, maintenance, and safety issues, including dirty bedding, damaged stairs, an unusable kayak, a filthy...

”The house was very roomy and had everything we needed. It was situated in a new subdivision and very close to most amenities that you might need. It was a quick drive to Barrie and Innisfil beach. The host was easy to get a hold of and ensured we had all the information we needed. We had our dog with us and she was quite happy with the place. There is a small yard for her to spend time outside as well. Overall we had a great stay at this house.”

”We had a group of five staying here, and it was great to have enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The owner was very responsive to our messages and answered all of our questions promptly. We would definitely look to book this house again, as it worked very well for our larger group and was conveniently located near the Barrie Ice Arena. Everyone had a great stay!”

”I hadn’t received the code by email beforehand. Cleaning wasn’t finished, and the previous guests' towels and sheets were in the washer-dryer. The kitchen cupboards were nearly empty; there wasn’t even a can opener. We had to buy one. There was a superb Napoleon BBQ, but several wasp nests in the yard, which really needed a major cleanup. The beds were okay. The appliances worked well.”

”We were not allowed in to the apartment due to a plumbing issue. A plumber was coming but we were not contacted when the problem was fixed. We found other accommodation so we could get to the show we were in town for. All attempts to reach the host were ignored. It has taken 10 days and 5 Vrbo agents to hopefully get a refund. This has left a very negative experience for using vrbo. I have always been very happy with vrbo, but it will be a while before I use them again. The support team from vrbo...
