”Bathroom had a constant bad odor, wallpaper was peeling, tub was stained and chipped. Time for a remodel! We were there late, tired, and leaving early so I didn’t bother to ask for another room. Kept a towel rolled up by the door to keep the noise and light out from the big gap. Bed was comfortable and nice to have a fridge in the room. We have stayed there once before but I won’t be back. ”

”The resort is rather big and it can be hard to go around as the signs were not all that good. Luckily there was a shuttle between different locations. Room itself was nice and the view was great! :) ”

”I think of a Ritz Carlton as an over the top experience but I feel the Amelia Island Ritz is underwhelming. With all resort fees, parking cost etc., the nightly room charge was $1400. That is no food or activity charges. We were disappointed their “Salt” restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday so did not get to eat there. Other eating options are fine but not special by any means.”
