Welcome to Southern Dunes: Flamingo — a 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment just steps from the sand in Jacksonville Beach. The beach is right outside your door, and the pier is a 2-minute drive away.

The layout is simple and practical. The living room, dining area, kitchen, and patio are on the ground floor. Both bedrooms and the full bathroom are upstairs — plan accordingly if anyone in your group has trouble with stairs. Sleeping arrangements include two bedrooms, each suited for couples or small families traveling together.

The full kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook most meals in — fridge, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and pantry basics — so you are not eating out every night. A washer and dryer are available in a shared laundry room on the property, which is convenient for multi-night stays. Free parking is included on the premises, so there is no daily parking fee to worry about near the beach.

The patio has its own grill and furniture, but it is not fully private — guests from the neighboring unit may occasionally be visible. It is a shared-wall setup, not a fully secluded yard.

Two heads-up worth knowing before you book: the nearest beach boardwalk is currently under renovation as part of a city project, so direct beach access from that point may be limited on some days, including weekends. The closest alternative access is on 9th Ave S, about a block away. Also, due to beach dune restoration, the ocean view from the unit is no longer available.

Eleven South is a 5-minute walk — great for a mesquite-grilled dinner after a beach day. O-Ku Sushi on the rooftop and TacoLu's fish tacos are both a 2 to 4-minute drive. Angie's Subs, with their legendary sweet tea, is 3 minutes away by car. Mayo Clinic is a 9-minute drive, and TPC Sawgrass is 14 minutes away.

Self check-in is available. High-speed WiFi, linens, and towels are all included. Summer is peak season here — the beach fills up fast, so booking early gets you the best dates.

A refundable security deposit or optional damage waiver may be required. Guests will be given the option to choose between a refundable security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver prior to check-in.
