The unit was ok... The kitchen needs an overhaul. The bathroom vanity/sink sub-par. The round toilet very small. The Living room furniture was worn out and only a loveseat. The dining table was the elephant in the room. It sat 8 and the LR furniture sat 3. Most all the doors and metal components are rusted. We have stayed in various units and this one was by far below expectations. Sorry for the review but this unit needs a make over.

Balcony/master had scenic view of the beach with easy access. Beach chairs/umbrella were advertised as an amenity however were not present. The management company were quick to get these to us so we could enjoy the beach. Communication with management company was also quick and helpful. I had some allergy issues in the unit, I am allergic to mold. I intend to fu with property management regarding this issue with photos to address. The only other concern was lack of window/door coverage especially since turtle hatching continues thru end of October and some windows on beach side did not have blinds or curtains.

Never again...............upholstery dirty & smelled, kitchen cabinets & utensils & appliances broken & rusted, floors stained our feet black, bath door doesn't close & cabinet legs rotted falling over often, 2nd bedroom closet doors off runner & glass broken/w old broken misc pcs, paint cans stored in a/c & water heater closet, screen door won't close, asked for help but only got promises, very unhappy. BUT the view was great!

This condo is right on the water and has a great balcony.The condo itself is in need of a redo. Very outdated and in bad condition. If you just want a great view, then this is perfect. Beach revitalization in progress.

Great Location!

This was my and my husband's second time staying at Coral Sands. We love the close proximity to (ON) the beach and that this area is never crowded. The property is central to great restaurants and close to downtown. We had a great time despite the beach renourishment project happening right in front of the condo. (My husband enjoyed watching and learning about the process while I enjoyed the beach.) Would definitely stay here again!

Need to upgrade condo

Unlike the online condo, this one had dirty, stinky furniture & rug. We covered furniture with blankets to sit on. Our feet were black from walking barefoot in the condo. The pots & pans in the kitchen were goodwoll specials, not worth using as was the range. None of the burners fit properly to cook on. The mattress sagged badly on th left side. There was no beach umbrella or chairs. We did find 2 rusty bag chairs that were on their last leg & a tent with no instructions . The condo stunk, a combo of wet cat, mildew, old grease. We left the sliding door open all the time to keep the smell at bay. The only good part was the balconey & beach front. We wont stay here again. likeaacatwergoodwspecials

Coral sands condo

The area is good. Had stayed in another condo in this complex and it was great. This condo was out of date. Bathroom had lots of chaulk to hide issues. Walking on floor made feet black. Do like the location but wouldn't stay in this unit again

Not maintained, uncomfortable furniture & kitchen lacking

We felt we had to wash everything before we used it. Flatware, bowls, cups lacking. Every piece of furniture must have up on the side of the road because not even a thrift store would sell it and none of it acceptable for donation. Cabinet over toilet unattached and almost fell on top of my 95 yo mother. Slept in master first night and ached so badly the next day that I couldn’t function the next day. It’s a dump.

Loved the location. Condo was old and needed work. Found 2-3 cockroaches daily throughout the unit. Once again the location was great. The beds were very hard. Property manager supplied us with a memory foam topper which helped. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Last minute trip

Property manager and housekeeping were great. I would not rent this unit again and will never recommend it. Such a disappointment. Screen door broken, mirror closet door broken( very dangerous), kitchen drawer broken, all beach equipment broken. Things are rusty and non of the cookware any good. Sofa and chair so old and musty. Just so disappointing.

Great area

This is the second year my brother and I have stayed here. We love the area and the vicinity to the beach. The only knock I have is parking is extremely difficult.

Great location

This is a great location. Parking can be an issue. There aren’t enough spaces for the number of condos. This condo needs work. The main bedroom had one small 10 inch lamp on all night stand. There was no overhead lighting or fan. There’s an owners cabinet, built into the main bedroom which covers the outlet on the other side of the bed so tough to charge phones and less in another room. Bathroom toilet seat needs replacing. Bathroom door is splitting at the bottom. It has a great location but needs work and updating in many areas.

Room and view was great, Matress and parking is horrible

Room and view was great. The mattress in both rooms where horrible. If the dollar store sold mattresses these would be the rejects. Extremely uncomfortable, for a premium price paid it should have been better. Me and wife tossed and turned every night all week. Parking was also very inconvenient approximately 20 spots for 30 rooms. If it was ever at max capacity you can park at a sister company 1/2 mile down the road.

Awful filthy property

This condo was filthy: roach traps on the kitchen counter, dirty grimy cabinets, inside refrigerator shelves broken; shower corroded and coated with soap scum, shower caddy corroded and covered with soap scum and zip tied to the shower head; all vents covered deeply with dust, closet doors covered with dust, bedroom closet mirror door mirror was broken, bedroom had an outlet with live wires coming out of the wall, chips and holes in the walls and baseboards, baseboards covered in dirt, grime and dust, filthy dirty furniture, balcony furniture dirty and table rotted, cigarette butts outside the entry door, mattress box springs left exposed and filthy. Booked for 4 nights, got a hotel the last 2 nights. Took pictures and alerted Amelia Island Vacation Rentals of this, they did not respond for 5 days. Followed up on the 5th day and their response was they were investigating and said the photos and our comments were false and they took photos and would not show us. I am sure they went through and cleaned the filth and fixed the horrendous issues and lied to us. Shame on VRBO for listing properties such as this, posting pictures that do not show the actual rental. VRBO does not screen their properties its all a scam. We will not book again through VRBO, they are crooks. Beware and do not book with Amelia Island Vacation rentals. Check their google reviews and you will see the comments and the Crooks that Amelia Island Vacation Rentals are.

Issues with property

The individual unit was clean. However, the only chair in living area had a broken arm. One of the chairs on the deck also had a broken arm. On the other hand, the owner had left plenty of beach things for us to enjoy - towels, chairs, etc. Window screens were in disrepair, and there was a non-functional , imitation dead-bolt at the front door. In general, the whole property looked in need of major renovation. It's a beautiful location- it's a shame it's being neglected by the owners. Oh, by the way , my traveling companion got stuck in the elevator as we were preparing to leave. She could not get anyone to come to her aid, and finally got out, having been terrified. I was not able to help her due to age (85) and she had to carry all our stuff down the stairs . We decided on the location because of the elevator. A lot of work needs to be done before I would consider coming back
