Lovely Little Nook

We rented this property as a quick anniversary get away from our 4 young children. The atmosphere was peaceful and the community set back in the oak moss cove gave the much needed feeling of serenity. The amenities were perfectly described and the convenient short walk location to the beach was perfect. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely location

Started out with a blip but the owner corrected it immediately. A great place to stay…wonderful spot near the beach. Nice break from the winter in the Northeast.

Fun and Relaxation on Amelia Island Florida

This beautiful and comfy condo is located back in a quiet complex, yet close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. There is a community pool for the complex, tennis courts, and a pond for fishing. Would highly recommend and hope to rent it again on our next trip!

Perfect beach retreat

This condo had everything we needed to enjoy our time at the ocean. We appreciated having all the 'beach stuff' right at hand; and the short walk to the ocean. Loved that the beach is accessible all along Amelia Island. The condo was close to grocery stores, Walgreens, etc. we were only a short drive from the fun historic downtown. All in all a very fine trip.

Month of March

This is our second time staying at Amelia Landings for the month of March. It is a safe, quiet community of villas nestled among live oaks and beautiful blooming azaleas at this time of year. This condo is clean, well appointed, and very comfortable for the month. It is centrally located on the island, a 7 minute walk to the beach, close to local golf courses, hiking and miles of beach walking. We definitely hope to return another year.

Nice property: they really did have lots of items available in the condo: for instance trash bags, toilet paper, & hand soap! Tim & Jessie were quick to respond to a request we had! The beds are on wheels and that was something to get used to, but they were comfy! Pool was awesome, but the pool bath and the grounds could've been better kept. These beaches are very nice! Overall nice experience! Fun stay!

Great condo in a great location

We’ve stayed in a number of condos and hotels during our visits to Amelia Island, and this is the best. It’s comfortable, clean and has everything you could possibly need. It’s decorated beautifully and the porch is wonderful. We spent a lot of our time on the porch as the weather was great. Love the seclusion of Amelia Landings, yet it’s close to everything. Perfect location to stay as we continue our exploration of the island. Jessie and Tim are very accommodating and easy to work with. It was wonderful to meet them. Hope to stay here again on our next visit.

We stayed at this fabulous unit and loved it! We have stayed at many VRBO places over the years and this was by far one of the best! The pictures do not do it justice! It is impeccable and beautifully updated! They have thought of everything! The beds were very comfortable, towels soft, and it had all the convienences of home! It was very clean and decorated beautifully! The location is perfect! We will definitely be back! We truly hated having to leave.

Ideal Space for Our Little Family

We loved having space of our own so close to the beach AND the fabulous pool. We enjoyed mornings and evenings under the ceiling fans on the screened porch plus the blissfully chilly AC during the hottest parts of the day. We had great space to spread out and relax after busy fun days and plenty of floor space for the pre-walking little one to scoot about and play safely. (I promise we did our best to find every cracker or Goldfish she may have abandoned.) It was a wonderful and restful vacation, and we thank you!!

If you're in the area - THIS is a GREAT place

Arrived for extended family vacation and was pleasantly surprised and thankful that the condo was as described. Clean, modern and well laid out for a family stay. EASY walk to beach, stop by Dairy Queen on the way back! Hosts were friendly in exchanges and easy to work with. Large screened porch with ceiling fans and a very comfortable arrangement for winding down the day with large chairs and a table set. Washer / Dryer made the girls happy and the large screen TV for the guys made evenings in relaxing as the seasonal storms passed by. We have already planned a return visit -

Relaxing!

Arrived after dark so it was a little hard to find but worth the effort!! The screened porch is so nice and private. We didn' t use the beach equipment but there is such a nice variety available! The toaster didn't work but no big deal to us, if so I'm sure we could have contacted the owners. Just left a note for housekeeping :) We hope to stay there again! Nebraska Witte's

Looks nice but really dirty

The location is great, walking distance to the beach. But beware the condo itself is really dirty. All the vents had a thick layer of black dust or mold. My family, including two young children, were sneezing, coughing, had headaches and sore throats when we were in the condo. Surprisingly when we left the condo for the day we felt much better. The beach chairs, toys, and equipment are all rusty and broken. The rugs in the condo were filthy. You could tell just by walking on them they felt grimy. The place needs a good deep clean.

Amelia Is Condo

The place was nice. we had a couple of things that needed to be addressed with the owners. We had to kill at least two large palmetto bugs. the shelf above the master bath sink was loose. There was a lose piece of molding on a kitchen cabinet between the doors on the left side above the sink. We found working the TV remotes very difficult. Even with instructions that were left for us, we could not get channels changed. We enjoyed the area and the condo itself. The lanai was beautiful. It was too cold for the beach but I am sure it would have been great. We were there for the Dickens on Centre festival and truly enjoyed it.

Impressive!

Amelia Landings is a beautiful place, and our condo was exceptional! I have never stayed in a place so clean. Condo is on the first floor, which was very convenient since we had two young children (and luggage), but you might have guests above who can be heavy stompers (ours weren't too bad). We cooked mainly breakfast and had snacks, but the kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook three meals a day if you wanted. There could have been a few more towels and wash cloths, but it was no problem doing laundry - the washer/dryer was very convenient. There were plenty beach towels and things you might need at the beach. The Amelia Landings pool was gorgeous. I don't know if we picked a good week to come because we always had the pool (and sometimes beach) to ourselves. I had almost given up on travel because of not ever "knowing" the condition of places, but this condo has completely renewed our desire to travel! We will return (soon I hope)!

Great getaway

I went with my husband and my daughters. It was our first time being there. This property was everything the listing said it would be. It is really a block and a half from the beach. Not just being able to see the water but an actual entrance. The closed in porch is to die for. The set up is great. Two recliner chairs and a table with four chairs. They supplied towels for the beach. Boogie boards, coolers, umbrellas (nice and big), etc. all was supplied. I was in Amelia Island for a law conference. This condo was a nice place to come back to and relax. It is down the street from a Walgreens. Walmart is about 5 minutes away. Its not too far from a movie theater. There are other mom and pop businesses right outside the entrance. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The price was right, too. The only thing i would suggest could be better is to put a tv in the 2nd bedroom and a bigger tv in the master bedroom. Ms. Lori was very responsive when i had what seemed to be an issue (turned out to be nothing).
