Stunning Penthouse Condo-Amazing Views-Shipwatch of Omni Resorts!

Welcome to our fabulous top floor oceanfront 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom Shipwatch condo located in the private gated community of the Omni Resort ~ Amelia Island!

This is a beautifully furnished, wonderfully renovated and tastefully decorated condo with expansive views of the ocean on the east side and the Intracoastal on the west.

Updated kitchen with granite countertops and bar seating along with a separate dining area. Wonderful living area with full living room seating as well as two recliners for relaxing and watching tv!

All bedrooms are wonderfully equipped with plush beds and luxurious sheets for a restful night's sleep. Two of the bedrooms have king beds while the third bedroom has two queen beds and all with fully updated bathrooms!

Two of the three bedrooms also are nicely decorated with mounted surf boards making them very interesting and entertaining! Surf's Up!

Come relax and enjoy the sunny days of Amelia Island whether relaxing by the oceanfront pool (heated seasonally), strolling on the beach searching for shells or just exploring all that the Historic area of Fernandina Beach has to offer! We look forward to sharing with you our fabulous condo and Amelia Island/Fernandina Beach!

**NOTE - There are 6-8 stairs once off the elevator before entering the condo**

**Omni Main pool, golf course and fitness center are not included with this rental. However, Shipwatch Villas has a wonderful oceanfront pool (seasonally heated) available for use as well the Omni Resort's public amenities.**

I rented this unit with two girlfriends (3 total) for a reunion long weekend. This condo is a perfect location and has amazing east and west facing views. It is up-to-date and very clean. It has a spacious and beautiful kitchen that has everything you need. It also has spacious bedrooms and bathrooms allowing privacy for each guest or set of guests. It also has great closet space (but can use a few more hangers). Perfect for viewing the ocean to the east and the river to the west--just move patios based on sun rising or setting. The west patio is off two of the bedrooms and smaller. Windows all around making it a very light unit. The grounds around the unit are very nice making it a pleasant walk to the pool and the beach. The host was very responsive and kind. Simple instructions for checkin and checkout. I wish we could have stayed longer. I would definitely go back.

We enjoyed our stay at Shipwatch. Amy, our contact was very attentive and responsive to any questions. The only thing that we found odd and has been mentioned several times in reviews was the issue with no door to the bathroom in the master bath. A BI folding door or barn style door would be two simple remedies to that issue which becomes a privacy factor to most people unless it is used as a single bedroom. That being said, we loved the layout, location and views of both the sunrise and sunsets daily. We will return.

Views were awesome and Amenities were great. Beach chairs, towels, even a bag to carry, beach toys etc. Kitchen is also fully stacked. However, I didnt realize we didnt have access to any of the omni resorts amenities, despite being on site. And, the place is old,yes, recently renovated. but, there are things that a coat of paint cant cover. Some stuff is rusted, dated etc. The dryer damaged a couple of pants. Host is very responsive and provided everything we wanted.

The views of the ocean and sunrises were amazing and we were able to also see sundowns from the back bedroom balconies. Absolutely beautiful! The unit had an ideal location and very quiet and peaceful.Our only disappointment was the dirty dishwasher despite being run empty to try and clean it, lack of water pressure in showers and kitchen sink and the mold growing on the grout in the master bath. The unit could use a general update/refreshing.

Great apartment

The condo was great. 5th floor with a nice patio. Well stocked and great views of the beach. The only quirky thing, which some people mentioned in their reviews, is that the master bathroom didn't have a door separating it from the master bedroom. Aside from that, we loved the property and would stay again. Thank you!

Beautiful Large Condo

The condo was pristine and decorated very nicely. There was ample space, a nice deck, and spacious rooms. The area was gorgeous with plenty of biking/hiking trails and a quick walk out the door to the beach. The views from the condo were beautiful. Would definitely stay here again.
