Matkat – Jaglot

Sänky oli hyvä.

The friendliness and service were top at this hotel. Our room for 4 people was wonderful, stylish and it was wonderfully quiet to sleep there. The location in the heart of Rome was great. It was easy to walk in every direction (30 minutes to each attraction). The room was not completely spotless, but the overall appearance was very clean. It was a plus that we could open the window so we could ventilate the room of the humidity that the heating did not remove. The hotel had its own "water bar" where you could fill your drink bottles (or the glass bottles provided by the hotel) and if you wanted, take some ice. The extra bed on the sofa was not comfortable. We would have liked a mattress pad or blanket for the hard and slippery leather sofa, (there was just a sheet).

Siisteys ok. Aamupala asiallinen ja mm. tuoreita vihanneksia ja hedelmiä oli tarjolla. Huoneiden äänieristys todella huono ja huoneen ovi oli lähinnä näköeste kaikkien äänien kantautuessa käytävästä huoneeseen. Huoneen sisustus ja pinnat kuluneet ja huoneessa haisi selkeä home. Tarkemmin tarkastellessa kylpyhuoneen ja itse huoneen välinen seinä oli turvonnut ja homeessa. Hyvä sijainti, mutta hinta ja edes huoneen perustaso eivät kohtaa. Ystävällinen henkilökunta 🙂

I was worried when, a couple of days before my trip, I got an email saying you may not be able to drive up to the hotel because it's in a Historic District, but Uber and Chauffeurs could park right in front. And the Jazz from the Restaurant next door during the day and evening made me feel like I was in a 1950s movie. My hotel stay in Rome was the best part of my vacation.
