”This is the second time we've selected this property for our visit and it was superior both times! Exceptional value for price paid. So roomy, spacious, and well appointed. One of the few properties we've stayed at which actually exceeded my expectations based upon their own written description. One thing we love are the private decks complete with table & chairs that overlook gorgeous scenery. Quiet, tranquil, and wonderful stay. Very safe - 24 hour guarded gate. Bonus: the original manor house...

”The room we were given had a smoke smell but we we soon given another room that was fine. Everything worked well. Breakfast ok -- except for the all-too-common plastic cutlery and plates -- not ecological. ”

”The lobby and room were fabulous, wanted a balcony for fresh air and that was nice too, with chairs and a small table. The property is huge, outside seems like it could use some freshening up but inside was updated and lovely.”

”The staff was excellent. The space, though, was not. Everything was black and white, decorated with a minimalist eye. The lobby had a lot of wasted space. The "Bistro" was a counter with a very limited menu and a bar. There was not a dresser in our room. There was a flat table under the tv, a long plastic type box with 2 drawers that slid half way under the table, and a lot of wasted space.”

”A good base with free parking. The breakfast was decent but didn’t vary until day 4 of our 4 night stay. A nice pool and a clean spacious room. The bathroom was cramped but functional. Would recommend if visiting the area.”

”The resort staff are very friendly and so is the neighbors and very clean it is hard to find where to put the clean towels I wash but overall I would totally book again in the future!!!!!”

”This review is for the Griffin hotel, not the main hotel (which was beautiful). When we booked our trip, we knew that we wouldn’t be in the main building since we were traveling with a dog. However, if we would have known what we were getting into, we would not have stayed at the Griffin hotel. It felt like the reject hotel. After checking into the main building, we drove to ours. We passed a couple of other small hotels on the property that looked nice and when we got to ours it looked...
