The buildings are Revolutionary War era construction, so don’t expect the modern amenities of a 21st century hotel chain. ”Best VRBO we ever had! We spent the week there with our two adult children and their partners. The grounds were beautiful - we made use of the grill and dined outside. Happy hour amongst the shuffleboard and hydrangeas and firepit - magical! The proximity to the beach could not have been better! We also made use of the beach gear (chairs, umbrella, cart, boogie board) so all we had brought was our own beach blanket and an extra umbrella. Kathy and Steve thought of everything. ”This is a cross between a hotel, a bed and breakfast, and an Airbnb. The room had a modern feel with a King-sized bed and a modern private bathroom with a shower stall - like a contemporary hotel. There is no front desk - similar to an Airbnb - although Randy and Lisa, the gracious and friendly hosts, were available whenever we needed them. Each morning, we were greeted with a wonderfully prepared breakfast of much higher quality than your typical hotel - what one would expect from a B&B.”
