”What an amazing location. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, they showed us around and we were able to play and feed the baby goats. The scenery was absolutely amazing with views right across the valley and hills. We saw Kangaroos, native birds, goats, Alpacas and even an echidna taking a stroll. The house had everything we needed from heating to amenities to entertainment for a young family. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a peaceful getaway in aussie bush/farm near the ski...

”Wairere Rest is a really special property and a perfect place for some time away. The cottage is larger than we expected and has everything you could possibly need. The gardens and property were stunning and there's so many great food and wine options in the area. Even a 5-star rating doesn't seem high enough for Wairere Rest and we hope to return at some point in the future. ”

The bed was so comfy, clean with beautiful linen. Everything was spotless. Great kitchen and BBQ for meals. The pool was a great addition. Just sorry we hadn't booked for longer.
