”We had an amazing experience at this property. Katy was an incredible host. Very responsive and helpful. The home was clean, well stocked, and spacious. We loved having so many beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, beach toys to use. We loved the location. Beautiful quiet neighborhood. So close to the fun quaint boardwalk and to the beach. We paid extra for the golf cart and it was so worth it. We loved our time in Duck!”

”Perfect place to stay with our dog. There's even a gate separating the living and bedroom areas. Nice neighborhood as well. We were there in January, and many of the houses seemed to be occupied by owners, which probably makes it a quieter neighborhood in the summer as well.”

”Our stay at the Relax Shack came during an unexpected heatwave. Having this comfy, spacious two-bedroom house allowed our 21 year old daughter, our dog, and US to spread out and chill out without getting on each others nerves. The house provided everything needed to prepare our meals and the large deck was lovely-when we managed to avoid the heat. ”Amazing place!! We could not be happier with our stay. The place was clean, smelled great (a big deal ) and felt brand new. Light from the surround windows floor to ceiling made the place a dream. The garden space and surrounding natural area really made the place feel private and secluded. The host was very gracious and accommodating. ”This house was a perfect find in Duck for a couple families with small kids. The bedroom and bathroom situation worked well, property was clean, and location was great. Two things really stood out tho. First, when the property listing says the kitchen is well stocked, it's not an exaggeration. There are plenty of pans, utensils, even a pitcher. Everything is super clean too. But the best was the communication from the host- responsive and helpful at every turn. Thanks for the great stay!”
