”Although the weather did not really cooperate (rained for the first 2 days), we still found the home cozy, peaceful and and the area serene. A beautiful location right on the lake. We go once a year with our four wheelers to northern Vermont and this was a great riding area. Lots of trails with stops along the way (Parker Pies, Bakersfield, Morgan Store). Jim and his wife were there when we arrived. Very nice people. Would recommend to hikers, ATV'ers, and just folks who want to get away. PS....

”Stayed for 4 days of fishing. We loved the location, the appearance of the house and there was plenty of parking space for 2 trucks and 2 boats. All instructions were clearly communicated. House was clean and well stocked. All the necessary kitchen items are there. The lake is beautiful and if you are a fisher-person there are plenty of fish waiting to be caught. The ‘Queen and twin’ in the upstairs bedroom are bunk beds which was a bit of a surprise but we made due. Would definitely stay again.”

”We couldn't have been happier with our stay. Two families with a total of 5 kids ages 7-12 and we had more than enough space to spread, hang out, and enjoy Jay. We absolutely loved the convenience of ski in/out and the ability to come and go as we needed. The house was super well stocked with everything from bathroom supplies, to dishwasher and laundry pods, to most kitchen necessities. ”This is an appealing property with a modern feel. It’s an older house and while it does have low ceilings (only a slight issue for me in the stairway as I’m 6’2”), it has significant modern updates and a lot of charm. Overall the property is also very clean. The property is picturesque with a nice brook running behind the house, into a small river in front of the house. The property is conveniently located for skiing/snowboarding with proximity to Jay Peak, Smugglers Notch and Stowe. It...

”Awesome house right near Jay! Hot tub after day of skiing was great! We enjoyed family dinners at the large dining room table and movie nights in the TV room!”
