”This accommodation is very well located in the Kelso town square and within easy walking distance to pubs, cafes and restaurants. The bakery to the left of the front door is outstanding for home cooked morning rolls and beautiful cakes. Apartment 1 is spacious, clean and has everything you need despite the furnishings being a bit dated. Note this accommodation may not be suitable for those with mobility issues due to the stairs to all rooms. This is a great base for trips to Lindisfarne,Bamburgh...

”This was a great location for me to visit Galashiels. Its a lovely old manse building with nice clean big rooms and comfy beds. The owners of the guest house were on site, very friendly and welcoming. I had a sound night's sleep and woke to a lovely cooked breakfast with all the trimmings. I couldn't fault my stay. There is plenty parking but lots of free street parking nearby anyway so no issues there. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.”

”The Haven is a great B&B in Rothbury, ideal for a base to see Northumbria, Holy Island, Bamburgh Castle, Alnwick and the whole of the NE. The B&B has outstanding breakfasts, large rooms with suite like rooms with a sofa area, tv and large bathrooms! Great find! Rothbury is a great little large village/small town with ample restaurants, bars and pubs, shops and cafe’s! Nothing is too much for the owner and staff in the B&B and we will definitely be back soon!”
