Traditional summer cottage near Bratten beach

This small 50 m² vacation home is painted white and filled with light from large windows facing west and two facing east. There’s a wood-burning stove for chilly days, a guitar to set the mood, and plenty of games in the wooden chest. You can relax on the comfortable sofas while enjoying the view of the natural surroundings.



The decor is simple and well-thought-out. The new kitchen has an induction cooktop and an oven, and the large dining table provides plenty of space for board games. The bathroom has a toilet but no shower. There’s an outdoor shower with hot water, so you can enjoy a lovely warm shower surrounded by nature. The large bedroom faces north and stays cool on hot summer days. There’s room for an extra travel bed or a child.



Two terraces let you follow the sun all day long. To the east, there’s a spot for morning coffee, and to the west, there’s a dining area and a sofa set for the afternoon and evening sun. The property is large, with heather, pine, and oak trees, and wildlife—deer, squirrels, and birds—regularly wander by.



The beach at Bratten is just under 400 meters from the house. There are golf courses in the area, including the Frederikshavn Golf Club. You can also take a trip to Lønstrup or Skagen, visit Råbjerg Mile and the sand-covered church, or experience “Kystfolk” in Frederikshavn.
