”First off the hotel doesn’t look anything like the website. The place had a weird smell to it. The hallway and room smelled. I have a CPAP machine and had to change the filter when I got home because the smell was in the filter. We paid for 2 nights and checked out after one. I told the front desk clerk we were checking out early. They didn’t even ask why or anything. They offered a continental breakfast but we pasted on it because of the condition of the hotel. ”The history of The Talbott Inn is very interesting. It was so cool to stay in an inn with such a rich history. I stayed in the Jesse James room and I loved it. Not a big room but was perfectly comfortable and very quiet. It was great having a historic room with modern amenities. Highly recommend staying at The Talbott Inn if you love American history.”
