”The host and hostess were very welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. Parking was in the property forecourt. The breakfast was well prepared and plentiful. The only issue was finding somewhere to dine. The local hotel could not accommodate us on the two occasions that we tried. The nearest was either Northern Sands or Castletown hotel both of which were a number of miles away.”

”Dinner was good, breakfast was very good.
Bathroom very spacious with excellent shower. Unfortunately there were no shelves for any toiletries.
Staff were very attentive and friendly. My only criticism is that we paid for a superior room, but it didn’t feel or look superior. It was on the ground floor with two windows facing Main Street, so the blinds were closed to avoid people looking in. For a standard room that would have been ok, but not for a superior room. It was also very small: there...

”This was a favorite place on our travels throughout Scotland. In a peaceful setting, everything was lovely and immaculately cared for, with many extra nice and small touches. Jane and Richard were excellent hosts, welcoming us warmly, sharing helpful suggestions, and providing a wonderful breakfast with homemade bread. This was a great stay and highly recommend! ”

”It’s an older hotel and you can tell they work very hard to maintain it. Difficult to judge the amenities as they were all shut by the time of arrival. My only small concern was the bed wasn’t as comfortable as I’d like it.”

”Kayce was amazing. She greeted us and introduced herself- the room was clean and had everything we needed- fresh flowers. The dinner we ordered was excellent and to order the best meal we had on our trip so far. Everything was locally sourced and made by Kayce herself. She was literally just a text message away. I would highly recommend staying here and would love to come stay again ”

”Andrea was an excellent host, the pod was clean and well stocked with everything you could need to make your own meals. The bed was comfortable and the hot tub was an added bonus to relax after a long drive. Highly recommended! ”
