”We loved staying here! The cottage was comfortable, clean, and a little larger than we were expecting! The shower was a little small…but that wasn’t a deal breaker. Loved having coffee and reading on the deck. We got to observe a lobsterman checking his traps. We made several trips to Milbridge for groceries and a meal. The highlight was the Catch Your Own Lobster (most of us watched) Boat Trip…lots of seals…and a delicious lobster dinner at the dock. If we lived closer, we would do it all...

”This was authentic Maine - lovely cabin located in the trees. It was a nice getaway from the crowds. Beds were comfortable and everything was as described. Would definitely stay there again. ”Quiet and Secluded. We had a great time sitting around the fire, great memories, very clean, The kids had a great time. The top bunk mattress was fine for my 8 year old but would have been a bit stiff for me. My older son slept on the futon he loved it. Plenty of towels, The water heater is a small one but we could each get nice hot showers if we waited a bit between. It would reheat quickly for the next shower. ”

”Our family of four had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was spacious and clean. Kitchen had some pantry essentials and everything needed to cook some nights. The grocery store is 3-5 minutes away. The drive toAcadia took us an hour and ten minutes to an hour and a half due to traffic getting on the island. It was nice to come back to the quiet house each evening. Would highly recommend.”

”My wife and I felt very lucky to have found The Miners Den which is a very new creation of a great proprietor who really cares about your experience.The hand built cabin is gently fitted to the landscape of balsam firs and hardwoods with a light touch.It reminded me of the few small cabins in the White Mountains you find along the trails.Everything you need less food is provided.For a couple in their sixties with a friendly dog we will be excited to get back there and see what’s happening.Oh...

”The cottage by the seas is amazing. Amazing location and proximity to the beach. House was very clean and well equipped with almost everything to make our stay perfect. Only two recommendations for future enhancements, the house is advertised for 6 people but dining area only seats four and, it would be awesome to have an outside dining area. ”
