”The wife and I spent a few days in southern Illinois, hiking, herping, bird-watching, generally just getting away from work and the daily grind, and this place was a great stay. We weren't in the house very much, coming back in late afternoon after being out all day, but it's a great place for privacy and quiet. Very relaxing.The host offered quite simply the single greatest communication I've ever had from a cabin rental... he would get back to us with answers to our questions within minutes....

”Such a great space!! We had our family vacation (two families, 9 people total) and adored all the extras like the pool table, hot tub and grill / patio. The board games were a big hit. The kids loved the complimentary snacks ;) and I loved the fully stocked kitchen and spice cabinet! Comfy beds and fluffy pillows with plenty of blankets and towels. The host was gracious and accommodating, there was a small mix up and she couldn’t have been nicer. We hope to stay again! ”

”The house was clean, beautifully decorated and spacious. The water pressure was strong for toilet and shower. We used the kitchen a lot as we stayed in for meals. We enjoyed the fire pit so much as that and the hot tub are must haves for us. We saw deer almost every morning in the front view and the back view. The games are a great touch too. We played shuffleboard and Ms PAC man and enjoyed the Green Acres bar. Our stay was just too short to enjoy it all. Thank you so much!!! ”

”The house definitely met our needs for our vacation. It was well equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals It was clean upon arrival and very spacious. The house was located close to all the sites we wanted to visit. The grand kids certainly enjoyed the air hockey and pac man games. We enjoyed the large parking area and the covered porch with rocking chairs. The hostess checked in as needed which was very helpful. The only thing about the house was it was very close the the...
