”The apartment was in bad shape. The only hot water was the bathroom sink. There was bugs in the apartment. The furniture was falling apart. The apartment lucked like it was under Construction. I would not advise booking a stay here. ”

”When we arrived there were no rooms available, even though we had a prepaid guarenteed reservation through Orbitz, and we were turned away. When we requested a refund via Orbitz it was denied. We were out aproximately $100 for the room and $25 for a taxi to another hotel. The only positive was that the Hotel clerk did help us find another hotel. I chated with and Orbitz agen for about 15 - 20 minutes who was virtually no help at all. ”

”This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed. It is comfortable with great location and staff is very helpful. It is also very private, nice and cozy and offers excellent opportunities for snorkeling at the house reef. Food was absolutely magnificent and the ladies working the kitchen were nice and helpful. Owners are nice people as well.”

The beach front location is beautiful and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We felt very well looked after and would recommend this location for a wedding as well as a relaxing beach vacation. ”

”Love this place, perfect location right on the beach beside the best bar on the beach, on the calmer side of half moon bay (less road traffic). Rooms are simple and cute, good air conditioning all with a little balcony patio, table and chairs and hammock surrounded by manicured jungle and plants, serene but steps away from the action. Staff is lovely and helpful, I picked the perfect spot, highly recommend!”

”The location is perfect across from half moon bay. We swam out to the swinging ship and swam In the ocean. The hotel is convenient to ALL of the restaurants in west end. We walked from one end to the other in 45 minutes and there were so many restaurants to choose from. The hotel staff was wonderful. We had a 1 bedroom apartment with private balcony and two queen beds. The room was very spacious and perfectly decorated. ”Roatan Yacht Club is in principle a nice Motel-style of place. Location is terrible as the neighborhood is very shady. Pool is lot smaller than in the pictures it seems. Food however is very good. The best Club sandwich that we ever had. Drinks not too expensive and bar staff very helpful. Price is a bit upscale considering the place.”

”My stay at the Reef House was exactly what I wanted. It has the old Roatan charm to an old dive shop that has the most welcoming staff I have ever met. From the owner Davey to Keith the IT/Bartender and the friendliest cook staff that makes great down home cooking. David the dive master has been out on the reef longer than most have known about Roatan. He knows some really cool places to see.”
