”A unique place to stay. Its more of an experience than a hotel. The room is amazing. Located close , right in the middle of, the historic partof town. The staff was super nice, welcoming and very helpful with recommendations. ”

”Matera is not the easiest place to get to in first place. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to change plans and arrived by coach bus instead of rental car. The hotel contacted us a couple days before our check in and once they learned about our change if plans, they helpfully pointed out to us that our bus station is actually quite a bit of distance from the hotel. They then booked a taxi for us that waited at the bus station and took us straight into the restricted area inside the old...

”We had a wonderful stay here in Matera. Check in was super easy, the rooms were very nice, very clean, and the shower was great! I appreciate that they don’t use harsh products on the sheets or anything because some places really do. Not here! The location is great, just steps from the main square which is incredibly lovely. Parking was really easy in a nearby underground parking that is reserved for hotel and apartment guests, about a 4 minute stroll from the apartment. Cheap at 20 for 24...

”Quick walk to Sassi, the castle, and breakfast in the common dining area. If you prefer a bus tour he has options for that as well. We found many food options within 5 minutes and a small fruit shop across the street. ”

Breakfast was served in our spacious room. Many restaurants and cafes to choose from and many paths from to explore. Highly recommended!”
