”We spent a long weekend in Madrid and we were very pleased with the hotel. Service was outstanding and the location of the hotel was superb. The rooms (we had two) were really nice and roomy (especially for an European hotel).”
”Loved this apartment and the neighborhood so much! It’s between 2 amazing grocery stores, Veritas and Supercor. The neighborhood is awesome! The dishwasher and washer/dryer, plus the kitchen made things so much easier for us. Tons of cute Spanish shops and restaurants around, and like 2 blocks from Gran Via. I’d stay here again! Loved it! Thank you!

”El hotel está en una ubicacion excelente, si quieres quedarte y recorrer Salamanca. Igualmente está cerca caminando a otros barrios de Madrid.
Lo recomiendo. Todo el staff es super educado y amable. La atención es perfecta. En el check out hubo un malentendido pero yo creo que fue una confusión de la reserva. Voy a volver cada vez que visite Mafrid”

”Totem is a were nice hotel with friendly staff and great location. Metro station is just one block away. I really can recommend it. Only disappointment was the breakfast. Hotel should really change the breakfast concept. It was included to my room price but it was so frustrating that I used it only two times during my four night stay.”

”Es un hotel clásico de Madrid. Tiene habitaciones renovadas en algunos pisos. Las camas no tienen almohadas individuales sino almohadones grandes que son un poco incómodos porque son muy delgados y no cumplen su función, pero eso es de gustos. En cuanto a la terraza y la piscina increíble su espacio y servicio. El gimnasio y spa de súper lujo, son una buena opción. ”

”This hotel looked great already at the web and actually it's location was excellent for us. Also the room and hotel premises were almost more we thought. Room was a bit noisy, but what else could you expect with location like this.
All hotel staff were very helpful and nice.
We also liked Madrid a lot - there is so much to do and to see. We'll be back.”

"when booking the room information said that there was air conditioning, but there was not. The room was really hot, even if we switched the heating first to minimum and then completely off. You could only sleep when we moved the beds to the front of the window and opened the window. Respa ignored our complaint, they just asked us to adjust the heating ourselves. There was a night club next door, so we couldn't sleep much during our vacation when we had to keep the window open.
The quality of cleaning was not good. On a couple of occasions, towels had also been left unbrought. General facilities worn out, e.g. holes in the walls. When taking a short shower, the water flowed into the hall. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Breakfast was the only decent thing.
