”We really enjoyed our stay. Be sure to follow the written instructions. We originally put the address provided into google maps and it took us to a different location. After we backtracked and followed the written directions, we arrived! The driveway was washed out in spots, which made traversing in our car a bit difficult. We took it slow and steady and made it. ”My family of 14 people needed a place for all of us to stay for the holidays. The twin turrets was a great fit for what we needed. Everyone had their own bed, the bathrooms took a little time to get showers scheduled, since there are only 2 showers, but it worked out. The home was fun to explore inside and out. We went for some walks on the trails, enjoyed watching the ducks and geese, or just looking out at the lake. So peaceful! ”

”Home was comfortable and had everything we needed. We did not use the upstairs since we had all we needed on the main level. Music festival at the courthouse 1 block away. House is on corner of the main street but was quiet inside. The back door you step down to get outside of door. A little awkward but nothing that would stop me from renting this home. ”We had a family wedding at Pebble Creek Farm, just 6 miles away from The Roost. Ten of us including aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews had plenty of room at the house to get ready for the wedding, and to gather for snacks and games in the kitchen afterwards. Everything was really clean and comfortable. We would love to come back here and stay for a winery weekend! ”

”We used this cabin as a central location for a week of exploring the local state parks. It was a great cabin with all the necessary amenities the beds are incredibly comfortable and we were able to comfortably fit our group of four. Do note that it can feel a bit crowded especially if you have a lot of bags. However we were more than happy staying here!”

”My 2 daughters, ages 14 and 11, and I had a wonderful stay on the property. The cabin was perfect for the 3 of us, nice and clean with comfortable beds. The A/C worked great on those hot days and nights. The property is very nice with some very pleasant trails. There were 2 other cabins occupied during our stay and we didn't hear a peep from their tenants nor any road noise. It is very peaceful there. Linda was very communicative and nice and I highly recommend staying there.”

”We loved everything about our stay at Pickle and Perk - the cozy and inviting atmosphere both indoor and out, the thoughtful accommodations, delicious coffee and fresh farm-to-table style homemade breakfast downstairs, and of course, the wonderful hosts. Hands down, the best rental we have ever stayed in. Stephanie and Dave have done an amazing job with this place and have gone out of their way to make it a special and unforgettable experience.
