”We spend one night there. The hotel is right in the center of Grindewald, about 5min walking distance from the train station. The view is great and the spa area with infinity pool was the main reason we chose this hotel. During our stay the weather was rainy and cloudy so spa worked as a good backup plan to spend the day. The other parts of the hotel are outdated and our room just looked old and a bit dirty. The breakfast was ok and service as well. ”

”Great hotel in Grindelwald. The staff was very friendly and the complimentary breakfast was very good. We had a fantastic view of the Eiger and Monch mountains that captivated us. I suggest requesting a room with a view of these mountains as opposed to the other side that looks towards Mount First. That side isn't bad, but the view towards Eiger and Monch is fantastic. The mountains feel close enough to touch. It's a 15 to 20 minute walk to the main train station, but there are also buses...

”My room had a nice balcony and an excellent view of the mountains from the second floor. The breakfast here is also nice with a lot of options. The staff at the reception and restaurant (Melissa) were super nice. They were happy to offer tips about where to go and what to see. The owner/caretaker even offered a ride to the railway station since we had luggage and it was raining. Awesome people. Highly recommended. ”

”Regarding the location, I can say that it’s not one of the most convenient one’s. But, worth just for the view. I would definitely recommend NOT to stay in a room with 6 people. The house is a bit old, so you keep hearing the floor cracking so it’s hard to sleep with so many people walking around the room. ”More like a brad&breakfast than an actual hotel, this was a simple yet pleasant place to stay. Excellent location to explore the mountains nearby, good breakfast and friendly service. ”Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen, Lage war top, leider viel Schneefall, aber haben wir auch nochmals genossen:). Leider, hatten wir noch Komplikationen mit dem WC. Aber der Sanitär konnte das Problem beheben. Sauberkeit, könnte hygienischer sein, auch der Schlüsseltresor( klemmt) mal anschauen.
