”Check in went smoothly and staff was super nice. Room/shower was clean and bed was comfortable. Brewery bar right next to the place and grocery store. Best thing at this place was the amazing hot tub and swimming pool. It was relaxing after the days activities.”

”My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was wonderful! The hot tub was very relaxing and we were steps from the beach. The staff was very helpful and upgraded our room. The room was a bit hot from no AC, but the staff gave us a fan to use. The resort is very rustic and cozy!”

”Stayed at Sierra cabin towards the back of the property (of note, Yurts are at a different location just down the road). Very clean, friendly staff, very relaxing grounds. Patrons were all respectful during our stay and everyone seemed to value the collective feeling of serenity/peace. Excellent supplies in terms of all needed utensils in clinic, only negative was regarding spice rack, some were expired but really not enough of a negative to take away from the experience. ”Silver Lake is a beautiful location and having cabins to rent on the lake side is pretty special. The cabins are old and rather quirky, but you can over look some inconveniences, like luke warm water, missing chairs for dining, no plugs in the sinks and even a mouse in your room. But when we checked in they charge me for the room even though I had paid for it . I had to find my credit card bill to show I had paid for the room. Once I showed them my credit card statement they refunded the money...

”Pass key to the room we were originally assigned to did not work which required back and forth to the front desk and wasted time. There was no coffee in the room. Multiple things were broken. I escalated the issues with no response or help from anyone.”

”Terrible hotel to stay in. Very old. The shower curtains smell disgusting. There’s ants in the room. There’s no AC in the room, just two giants fans that are very loud and the room gets really hot in the summer. The staff doesn’t store your bags after check out making it difficult to lug them around if you’re not leaving the area right away. Save your money and stay somewhere with better reviews.”

We visited in summer months so we did not need the fireplace but it did make the room feel very cozy - we enjoyed the cookies at check in as well as the coffee and tea bar in the room. The bathroom was nice and roomy and the property was well maintained. Will stay again when in Tahoe”

”The room appeared that it hadn't been cleaned for weeks. Black mold on the shower curtain, disgusting carpet that obviously hadn't been vacuumed for a while. I had booked for 4 nights and ended up staying only 3. Didn't get any maid service the entire time. The linens seemed to be clean which is the best I can say about it.”

I was able to book a room at this Hotel for a reasonable price and made my way to the hotel. Check in appears to be at 4pm but I was able to check in before that with no issues.
