”The house was very clean including the bathroom and bedrooms. All rooms had pine board walls, and the smell was very pleasant. Since we were there in the summer, the Mult-split system did a very good job at cooling the main areas, but the bedroom doors had to be left open (or cracked a bit) for the cooled air to reach those sleeping. To help with this, a fan was provided which more than compensated for the issue described above. The kitchen had everything that a couple or a family of five could...

”We came here for a weekend visit to check out the Shawnee National Forest area and had the best time! The cabin was in vlose proximity to several hiking areas, the amenities were great, and the cabin was very comfortable for what we needed. ”My husband and I came with our dog to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Our dog absolutely loved playing with the property dog, Kevin, in and out of the water. We spent our time hiking different areas in Shawnee, and thought this cabin was a great central location. The firepit (with free wood), patio set up and location were absolutely perfect! Marion has an adorable town square that is a 10 minute drive away. We had some fabulous meals in Marion, so we didn't do any cooking at the cabin....
