”This quirky Victorian style property is a great place to stay. As a solo traveller I felt safe & staff were attentive. The continental breakfast was good with a wide selection of self service items on offer. You do need to be aware that the trains ‘toot’ as they go past and some are quite long but the hotel does supply ear plugs & using them I wasn’t bothered by the noise. All in all more of an old fashioned, individual stay rather than a corporate experience. I loved it! ”

”This was a low cost place to stay as we visited Nauvoo. It is clean, has good internet and is about 30 minutes from Nauvoo”

”The young gentleman at the front desk was so friendly. The cleanliness was average, but we just used the space to sleep. So it was fine. Breakfast was a nice selection. Other staff were friendly as well. ”

”The room was clean and smelled nice. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The management was kind and available whenever we needed them. We had a very pleasant stay and would stay there again. The only complaint I heard from my husband was about the road noise. There is a stop light right in front of the hotel and the occasional engine breaks were loud. Even with that, we would stay again because of the excellent value for the money.”
