  • Enjoy this large 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom unit at the Valley Isle Resort in an oceanfront building with all the homey comforts you need for your vacation in paradise. Floor-to-ceiling glass sliders provide an abundance of natural light & allow guests to enjoy the Hawaiian breeze year-round.

    Relax in the living room after a day exploring Maui, soaking in the Hawaiian-style ambiance while sinking in to the plush furnishings to include a large sofa and two comfortable upholstered chair. Or, for that cool breeze, step onto your private lanai to enjoy an afternoon Mai Tai as you watch the whales and waves below.

    Cook a feast for the whole family in the fully equipped kitchen complete with a full-sized refrigerator, oven, electric stove, microwave, blender, and coffee maker. Sit down to enjoy your home-cooked meal at the dining room table with seating for four or five, or gather around the kitchen island that doubles as a breakfast bar seating two.

    The Master bedroom has a Queen Bed, while the second bedroom has an additional Queen bed, both providing plush pillows and fresh linens to ensure a peaceful night’s rest. Each bedroom is complete with a dresser for all your clothing storage needs. Plus, the Master bedroom features a flat screen TV for your entertainment and ocean views seen right from your bed. Great stay

We stayed in the condo (Property ID 2711835) the first week of August. Everything went beautifully. Upon arrival it was very easy to access the apartment and check out was also very fast. The apartment is located in a very clean and functional resort. The apartment is very welcoming and equipped with all the comforts we needed. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms are very spacious and give the opportunity to fully enjoy the living area. Washer and dryer in the house are truly an added value. The lack of air conditioning (there are ceiling fans) was not a problem because the sea breeze creates a favorable climate even at night. We really recommend this condo!

Condo review

The property has a great location and amazing ocean views! The property wasn’t very clean (tp rolls empty, dirty rag in shower, missing shower rod, floors seemed dirty) and the kitchen is very outdated. The lack of AC is tough but that is common in the area and was well communicated prior to arrival! Window and door openings keep the condo temp manageable. Overall I enjoyed my stay I just wish it was a bit cleaner and the kitchen was more updated. However, these two things were not terrible and did not ruin my stay by any means. It is a wonderful place to stay in a great location but if you plan on spending a lot of time inside and/or cooking then it’s the perfect place. Can’t beat the view! The rooms were comfortable and I would certainly recommend staying here.

The location is good, but the apartment is old and contains cockroaches and poor facilities.

Since the location of the accommodation and its cleanliness were very important to us, we decided to pay $550 per day for our stay in Maui from 12/24/2022 to 12/29/2022, while we could find less than this amount at the same time. On the other hand, the most disturbing thing for us was the presence of cockroaches in the kitchen. Becaues, inside the kitchen, we encountered cockroaches, which was very troublesome for us, and this was not mentioned in any comment. In addition, on the third day we did not have hot water and no one answered, and we were dealing with this problem until the last day of our stay. Also, we had planned so much for the accommodation inside, that we could not use it optimally. Finally, if you don't mind cockroaches, and you don't mind the lack of hot water, I suggest here. But by paying a little more, you can get a good hotel. Good Luck!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The kitchen needs replacement. The stove can't be used unless the fridge door is open. Kitchen equipment was hit and miss: scratched teflon is a heath hazard. All of the screens need repair. Having wall to wall in a beach location makes no sense: it should be tiled like most other units in the building. Bathrooms were dirty and shower fixtures weren't easy to operate. Front door needs a security screen door (like every other unit in building). Modem needs replacing. Needs electrical inspection: some plugs don't work and some electric is beside sinks. Etc, etc

Located on the ocean with a small private beach. The pool area was nice, the property was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We did not have a problem parking. There was a lot of maintenance being performed during our stay. There was a spalling problem with the lanais and the repairs were noisy and messy. Also our water was shut off for most of one day while repairs were made. Our unit had some issues. The kitchen was not well stocked, they didn’t have a single baking dish or cookie sheet. You have to open the fridge to open the oven because they don’t fit in the room and the appliances don’t match. The furniture is wicker and very uncomfortable. The lanai faces the ocean and has a good view but the building is kind of U shaped and the unit is on the bottom so the front door of all of the neighbors on the right face the lanai. It is not private. The hood fan in the kitchen didn’t work. We called to have it repaired, two days later someone showed up and looked at it and never came back. The beach chairs provided were broken... we just rented some.

Our rental in paradise

upon arriving at this propertywe were very excited when we entered the lobby, clean, spacious and welcoming. We opened the door to our condo 703, a very dirty mat at the door welcomed us. I picked it up and put it behind the chair so we didn't have to look at it. Overall the condo was in a sad state of cleanliness. Grease and fingermarks on the cupboards, a filthy backsplash. We tried to wash towels on the first Sun., the washing machine didn't work, I washed some clothes by hand a couple of days later and the dryer did not work. The office sent a repairman in, but couldn't resove the problem, it needed a new motherboard. Said they would replace the washer for us, that never happed. The cleaners came in wiped and few things, changed our beds and brought us clean towels. There was paper and other garbage under the beds, mold on our bath curtain which they changed, fuzz hanging from the air vents, streaks of dirt on the walls, a big water stain across the off white curtains in the master bedroom, the screen door going out to the patio off the living room was off track and torn, I have documented all these items. We spoke the a representative from Chase and Rainbows, we agreed on a specific amount of compensation, when we arrived home we received less than half of the amount agreed upon and my calls have not been returned. This condo could be a beautiful place to stay if the company that takes care of it would maintain this facility.

Hum…. It was a decent stay

Upon arrival check was fine lock box and key worked. No red binder with any instructions. Cleanliness was a 2 star because cabinets, coffee pot and behind toilet disgusting. No broom to sweep with and vacuum did not work. No beach chairs, blow dryer. It was just ok. The view was beautiful but the views from 805-810 (all the 05’s to 10’s) had a much better view. It had new carpet and it was nice it just needs a little love and updating!

Reviewer Comments: First, the agent that helped us make the reservation was amazing. She was very helpful with everything. Our original booking got canceled due to the unit being sold and she helped us find this unit. Since our original booking was for a larger place, we made arrangements to have an extra bed available for my child. However it was not present as the owner said it would be. After a lot of conversation, he ended up having to sleep on the sofa. Not ideal but I believe the agent did everything in her power to help. Otherwise the unit had a few quirks. The clothes dryer works about as good as you think it would from the picture. We finally gave up on it and hung up the clothes/towels to air dry. The shower door does not open all the way due to the toilet getting in the way. You have to open the fridge every time you want to open the oven. The screen doors were both off the rails when we arrived and kept coming off every time we went in/out. One bathroom did not have a toilet paper roll holder. They were very thoughtful to leave a couple bottles of wine for us, however, one was opened and half gone. I thought that was a little weird. Oh, and there was an old dirty shirt left on chair in the living room. It was a Hawaiian shirt so maybe it was a welcome gift? It felt like the owner is trying to rent it out to make a few bucks without really putting a lot of effort into the unit. Certainly their right but just be aware that there will be a few issues. I will say the location was great and the complex was very nice. We used the barbecues a few times and these were very convenient/clean. The beach access was great and we had a nice time overall.

Reviewer Comments: The apartement furniture was as described before,butthe cleaning was horrible, e.g. the tables, the floor were very dirty, the carpet was‘nt cleaned either, there was old stuff, clothes, masks, and old food from the previous tenant in the fridge.We have complained several times about the cleaning, but no one came.We have paid a cleaning fee for more than 300 US$, that was the only thingwe cannot accept.

I believe that all of Maui, including from the airport to this property, could benefit from some furnishing and remodeling updates. It was neat and spacious. A new stove but a 30 year old clothes dryer. You have to open the fridge to open the oven because of space limitations. But would I stay there again? The price was on target and the location was very good. Yes. The person who helped me make the booking was OUTSTANDING and the correspondence was good. Some teeny tiny ants on counter and in bedroom...but no big deal.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit had upgraded furnishings and a very nice. Check in time was 3PM and we could not get in until 4. There were no instructions for the TV, and that is ridiculous for people from other parts of the US. The TV in the bedroom did not work---perhaps batteries should to checked on the remote. There was an ironing board but no iron. No metal oven pans in the kitchen ( like a cookie sheet).
