The Ecolodge was a great place to start our day and a cool, comfortable refuge at the end of the day's activities.The location despite being in the Daintree was very accessble to tours, restaurants and shopping- for us. Ee recommend the Ecolodge without hesitation.”

”We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. The room had everything we needed, small kitchen, with fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. The bathroom was great, big walk in shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. There is a small swimming pool, which our son enjoyed. A covered outdoor kitchen with barbie for guests to use. There is also a laundry for guests. ”We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Tropical Nites. Mel & Andy are absolutely amazing people. Friendly very helpful with any questions you need answered or needs you require. The units are clean spacious and fully contained. The grounds are clean and well kept and the wildlife will keep you amused come dusk and dawn time. We cannot recommend Tropical Nites highly enough. We’ll definitely be back!”

”Great stay for a large family group. Really wonderful staff at every corner of the property. Comfortable large rooms, good food, amazing pool options, right on the beach. It is really nice for families and groups, plenty of places to 'meet up'. Only cons was it is missing a little kids play area (seems like it should have one) and the day spa is independent so you couldn't get Marriott points or room charge at the spa.”

”A nice clean room with a comfortable bed. The tub was heaveanly after a long day of trekking around daintree and cape tribulation. Tv had a great selection of channels. Plus for having a toaster in the room in addition to the fridge and water heater. After hours service was fast and helpful, both check-in and check-out were a breeze. The only downside would be that there's no free wifi.”

”Mantra Portsea is nicely decorated apartment hotel within walking distance from the center. The service level is good otherwise, but the rooms are only cleaned once a week. We stayed for 4 days so this was sufficient. You can get clean towels if you like. The breakfast was good. However during my stay I washed some clothes and they were damaged because the clotheshorse in the balcony was rusted. The hotel agreed to compensate the clothes after the housekeeping was unable to remove the stains....
