”A lovely location next to the Orange River - stunning gardens and places to wander around in. Great staff at restaurant - flexible on service and tasty food.”

”Great place”

”The door of the room was broken.. The room could be better with a door in the toilet.. The service wasn't very good and in our first dinner at 9:00 pm she took our plates without asking and she said that they close! I'm 24 hour hotel you cannot act like this”

”Unterkunft entsprach unseren Erwartungen. Zimmer ist gut eingerichtet mit Kühlschrank und Kocheinrichtung. Für uns hat es gepasst!”

”Very good for a stop over or short stay. Modern, neat and clean rooms with all you need. Friendly staff. Badger Grill Restaurant a bit if a let down in terms of food quality. Did not live up to what it “offered”.”

”Have stayed in Upington several times before but first time we have stayed at Browns Manor. Fully deserves 4 star rating. A green oasis in the Kalahari - massive koi carp a reap bonus. Staff really kind and helpful. Nice clean pool with shaded area and loungers. Good quality breakfast included.”

”The rooms are unfortunately not soundproof, which can be challenging when travelling for business. Noise from other guests’ televisions and conversations carries easily through the walls, which can make it difficult to rest properly. This is something to keep in mind when booking a stay here.”

”Very friendly service. There was a pool onsite to cool off in and swimming towels were provided. The room was adequate with a small fridge, tea/coffee maker, microwave and cutlery and crockery. The room layout was interesting and unique. Good value for money.”

”Rooms full of mosquitoes but no repellent or mosquitoe nets yet the hotel is besides a river, smelly rooms something wrong with the plumbing, noise from the road, fake lawn instead of carpets inside the rooms, fake chandeliers, doors that do not lock properly, waiting for 2 hours before being checked in. The is no 24 hour reception there. The one who does the checking in does not stay at that hotel, you will have to wait till she comes to check you in. Had this other occupant saying that that...

”Fantastic breakfast. Comfortable room and beds. Beautiful riverfront view. We very much enjoyed our stay.”

”The room I had booked was not available when I arrived. I was moved over the road to a cabin which was not as good as I expected.”
