Negativities/ fridge didn’t work so milk left for me curdled 🤔, glasses and coffee ☕️ cup selection limited ( $20 at the Sally’s would sort that out ) & no toilet paper 🤔”

”Room needed a spring clean... coffee stained plug hole in sink, icebox needs defrosting (ice cubes would be great). Bathroom ceiling needs dead bugs removed, vent need webs removed, garbage bin pedal was broken. However it was clean. Good tv facilities were there but you had to sign in to stuff. We watched tv1 but it kept dropping us. Spa the treadmill vibrated when running at speed so remote was flung off and slammed into wall (all still worked)”

”Waited in reception for 20 minutes before being seen by the receptionist that had no manners and demanded everything, room was filthy and not what I had booked for, came back to the accommodation the next day later in the afternoon and rooms had still not been cleaned. Overall I give the motel a bad rating & definitely won’t be staying there again or suggesting to anyone. ”

”I booked 3 nights, but ended up staying a week. Place is nice, clean, cosy, staff superfriendly, surroundings very beautiful and peaceful. Kitchen is well equipped and there is lots of space. Dorm room was warm enough for me, I find most of the NZ hostels too cold on winter time. Moana Lodge is truly a home away from home and good place to stay if you need a break from busy Wellington. Only thing I wish to change is that they should have unlimited wi-fi., altough I did get as much those 1GB...
