”Quiet and quaint during an early march visit. I think we were the only people staying there! Pool was great, and our room was right on the lakes edge. 50meters from the ferry terminal. ”I stayed 2 nights in a Mirembe cottage- my friend had the cottage next door and we had a dedicated outside eating area, from where we were served our food.We were served by James who was consistently courteous and efficient .We felt like film stars on a tropical island as we ate delicious food sitting by the lake watching a wide variety of birds - it was just such a treat!”

”The hotel is bordered by the lake on one side and virgin forest on the other. I took 3 marvelous meals a day and the evening meal had a roaring camp fire. Staff were superb. A boat trip organised by the manager was wonderful, many lake birds, families of monitor lizards and a flock of african grey parrots! Rooms clean, food good, drinks cold, assistance with travel, infact assistance with anything. What more do you want! ”

”Hallo, das Hotel ist sehr heruntergekommen und entspricht keineswegs der Beschreibung. Weder das Zimmer noch die Terrasse war geputzt, der Strand ist sehr dreckig und Wifi gibt es auch keines wie es aus der Beschreibung hervor geht. ”

”The staff welcomed us by the ferry where they came to pick us up. They were warm and nice. The rooms were cute and cosy. Food was made by order. They would always ask if we wanted to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner and asked what time we wanted it to be ready. They were very polite and helpful when we wanted to find out where town was and where we could go for swimming. When leaving the place we had to leave early due to the ferry, where the staff had packed a small breakfast for us to take...
