Ryokanit – Kanazawa

”The hotel was absolutely fantastic. The staff was very kind and professional, the rooms were immaculate, and the food was delicious. I would come to Japan again just to stay at this hotel.”

”Todella ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta, huikean kaunistaja taidolla laitettua paikallista ruokaa sekä aamiaisella että päivällisellä. Kannattaa todellakin valita puolihoito! Kävelymatka (ja kaunis reitti) keskeisiin nähtävyyksiin. Kannattaa huomata, että peseytyminen on ryokanin omassa onsenissa.”

”My go-to place in Kanazawa. The staff all speak English and are incredibly friendly and sweet! Love the Japanese style room and in-house onsen. This inn is gorgeous; when I went to check-in the first day I was in awe taking in the place, and each day I spent the morning walking around and enjoying the peace and quiet. A bit further from the city center but easy to get to by bus/taxi in 10-15 minutes; however, the neighborhood this place in was so charming. My brother and I spent a couple days...

”It was a wonderfully unique experience to stay at this Japanese hotel with a private onsen bath in our room. I would recommend staying at least 2 nights as it is in a remote location 40 min from downtown Kanazawa. They have a free shuttle to and from Kanazawa that you need to organize with the hotel. The multi-course Japanese breakfast in a private room was a treat. The staff was very responsive and helpful despite not speaking much English. We had to make quite a few changes and they were quite...

”Staff and service were amazing but my room was a little run down. Even though it was a non smoking room, it had a faint smell of stale cigarette smoke which was making me nauseous. However, they brought me complimentary sandalwood incense and with the windows open it got better. The sandalwood helped me sleep and I got the best rest of my trip so far. Overall a nice stay and historic but could use some updating!”

”Struttura bellissima e nuova. Abbiamo soggiornato in una suite di 95 mq con una sala da bagno meravigliosa! Personale gentilissimo”

”The staff was impeccable, the room was lovely and peaceful, the food was phenomenal. I felt like a queen here. Gardens and onsen are top notch. Service was perfect. I cannot wait to return!!”
