”Staying here was amazing - a very good ryokan for the cost, it wasn't bougie but it was still amazing. The room is a good size, the futons and comfy and the view with the garden is excellent. Also, the staff were lovely, she spoke amazing English and was very friendly and helpful. She even had a map printed out showing what is in the nearby town (i.e. where to eat. laundromat and public transport). This was extremely helpful and showed that the staff care about our needs, and also walked us...

”A beautiful place and a real honour to stay here as a westerner. Robes and amenities were provided and the baths were excellent including an outdoor area. Very helpful and friendly staff made us feel welcomed. There was even a mini stamp rally around the building which was great for us and our teen child to explore. The building interior was like a maze with beautiful objects and resting places all around and overlooking the garden.”
