Midtown is an eclectic area, known for the Westport entertainment area (West side of Midtown - you are on the East side), with festive brewpubs, DJ bars and retro-chic diners serving American comfort food. During the day, the scene centers on trendy fashion boutiques (tons of vintage shops). Midtown has historic buildings like the Thomas Hart Benton Home, with tours of the painter’s studio and gardens. Trails wind through nearby Roanoke Park, encircled by bluffs. The home is on the East side of Midtown close to Hyde Park, Squire Park, and Manheim Park. All 3 are historic neighborhoods in Midtown, Kansas City. It is a primarily residential neighborhood with businesses along Troost Avenue.

You are welcome to park on the street in front of the house or on the concrete parking pad next to the house if the neighbors aren’t there. That space is shared.

Kansas City offers multiple ride share services like Uber and Lyft, Bird scooters, RideKC (free bus), Ride KC bike, The Street Car (free) and plenty others. The residence is near shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. You will need at car or take a transportation service. If you need help getting anywhere let me know and I will help.

This is a city center suburb. There is a mix with updates homes and a few homes that need some love. You are in a large city so be mindful of you and your surroundings.
